I have now faced my worst fear.... |
Where: Loma Linda Community Medical Center (part of Loma Linda University Medical Center), Loma Linda, CA When: High noon, November 8th, 2001 What kind of surgery: Two plastic surgery procedures to be done at the same time - abdominoplasty, medial thigh lift with liposuction. Length of surgery: Approximately 7 hours Why: To correct deformity caused by extreme weight gain and loss. Other facts: I had to "set aside" 2 units of my own blood in the event I might have needed it during the operation. |
